Docwra Surname Archive Wills

There are many Docwra Wills and part of the Docwra Family Research Project is to transcribe these and make them available online.

The entries in this section are taken from a variety of sources, and are reproduced verbatim from the original/transcript i.e. including spelling errors etc. However as each Will was written in one continuous paragraph, and the Codicils similarly written in separate paragraphs, I have taken the liberty to format the Wills to make them easier to read. This has in no way altered the content (nor hopefully the sense) but will make them simpler to follow and understand). Some of the documents have Latin text and these are given in their original language, no translation being offered unless the source provided one.

The source of the document is given wherever known, along with further information as to the origin where appropriate.
