In the Name of God Amen I Edward Docwra of Royston in the County of Cambridge Gentleman do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following

that is to say ffirst I give and devise unto my loving Wife Elizabeth Docwra All and singular my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever whereof I have Power to dispose To hold the same and every part thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Elizabeth Docwra and her Heirs upon Trust and to Intent and Purpose that she do or shall when and as soon as conveniently may be make Sale and Disposition of my said Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments for the best Price and Prices she or they can or may get for the same And by and with the Money therefrom arising in the first place to pay off and discharge the Securities affecting the same and the ffines ffees and other incidental lapences attending the taking Admission and Sale of my said Estates and the Surplus therefrom arising to be disposed of with and as the Residue of my Personal Estate herein after mentioned is given and bequeathed

Item I give and bequeath unto my said Wife and good friend John Doo of Chipping in the County of Hertford Gent. All and Singular my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever to be by them received and got in and such part thereof as does not consist of Money or Securities for Money to sell and dispose of and the Money therefrom and from my said Real Estates and the Residue of my said Personal Estates arising to be equally parted and divided (after and subject to the Payment of all other my just Debts and the Legacies after mentioned) between my said Wife and my three daughters Mary Docwra Isabella Docwra and Lydia Docwra Share and Share alike And the Share of such one or more of my Children as may die under Age and unmarried shall go to and I bequeath the saine unto the Survivors or Survivor of my said daughters equally

Item I give unto my Son John Clerke Docwra ten Guineas only for Mourning he being already provided for

Also I give unto the said John Doo for his Trouble as my Executor the Sum of ten Guineas

and Lastly I nominate and appoint my said Wife and John Doo Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Edward Docwra the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fifteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy five E. Docwra.

Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Edward Docwra the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who at his request in his Presence and in the Presence of each other have hereunto set our Name as Witnesses, Edw. Day, Dan. Crespen, Tuttle Sherwood.

This Will was proved at London on the twenty ninth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy five before the Right Worshipful Sir George Hay Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commisary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Elizabeth Docwra Widow the Relict of the deceased and John Doo the Executors named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased being first Sworn by Commission duly to Administer.
